Frederick’s of Hollywood vs Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
There was more than just drinks flowing and glitter in the air. This event took major planning. Frederick’s of Hollywood vs Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was hosted by We Own the Night. Partners Erik Hoffman and Chris Amez explained all that went into planning and a brief background of the show.
“The show just keeps getting bigger and bigger each year.” says Chris. After three years word of mouth has definitely spread, “[We] have models coming in from Austin, Dallas, I mean its going to be a great show.”
We Own the Night could not have chosen a better venue. Before you walk into Lumen Lounge your eyes are greeted by exotic sports cars. The door men are dressed modern and neat. No intimidating buff men in tees, only dress shirts and blazers.
Inside the relatively small but packed lounge there was so much anticipation. Everyone was sipping their drinks and waiting on the sexy models to make their debut.
Although there was low key promoting there was a high volume of people, giving off a vibe of exclusivity.
The club was so packed that the police said Lumen Lounge was operating at full capacity, tip toeing the line of the Fire Marshall code.
Models from other cities came to the show to display their meanest catwalks! What’s their motive? MONEY of course, third place earns $250, second place $500 and first place wins $1000! The winner was determined Democratically through spectator votes. 2011 winner was a blonde bombshell wearing a jeweled emerald green and black panty bra set, coupled with black lace thighs highs, she was a shoe in. Coming from Dallas this was not her first rodeo, rumor was she won last year too.
Werun Houston was capturing all the hawt moments including an embarrassing slip up by an amateur model. Clubworld360 was rubbing shoulders with us competing to get the best footage.
Toxin was granted behind the scenes access to the models. We were particularly taken by an upcoming model named Carla Soliz. With great poise and dignity she really stood out to us. Wearing her peacoat over her baby pink striped Victoria Secret lingerie she was modest and sexy.
Catch her interview and our exclusive backstage footage. The cat walks were fun but the dressing room was twice as entertaining! Long after ‘last call’ and the glitter had settled the party was still going, great dj playing remixes of Top 40 til 3am it was hard to leave.
Toxin will definitely be covering the 2012 4th annual lingerie fashion show.
Til next time ArielXO
