“Young, Handsome, and Gifted.” Those Three words describe an artist that resides from Houston Texas. He started making music at the age of 15. He was never the type to express his self to others about personal issues so he did it through his music. He used the obvious life of the struggle as his motivation to do his music. He kept grinding to get where he wanted to be. Not by just producing hot mix tapes but also going out of his way to be heard. This guy went from taking over you tube to making hot videos. He had so much drive to be who he wanted to be. One night he waited outside four hours for Dj drama just to hand him a mix tape. Now he his living the dream of working with one of the hottest Dj’s around on his Procrastination kills mix tape. If you have yet to realize who I am referring to your missing out. Kirko Bangz has everyone on the edge of their seat right now. I believe he is taking Houston to a level no other artist has before. Of course Houston is known for delivering street music plus chopped and screwed music. But Kirko is bringing us something different and it might be just what we need to put Houston on the map. To be a true hip hop artist it takes a hard drive and hard work. I believe hip hop should be built on love, compassion and skills. When I take my time to listen to artist music it’s most likely because I see true talent. I look for pace, skills, fan base, style, and heart. Kirko bangz is one young and talented artist that I feel has established that. To be so young and fresh in the game he has already had the chance of working with Brian Angel from Day 26, Wale, Bun B , Big Sean and more. Not only does he drive hard to get to his destination but he reaches out to his fans. You can’t be an artist who only makes music just to be making it. Artist should reach out to their fans and give the people what they want to hear and he does that. He has hit singles such as “What yo name is” and “Drank in my cup”. He has been succeeding ever since by releasing mix tapes and doing show after show. Kirko bangz music life didn’t really start to take off until he attended Prairie View University. He continued to grind and fulfill his dream and finish college at the same time. His mother told him he could do anything he wanted to as long as he finished school. It takes a lot of faith and focus to do both and he did that. Kirko bangz not gives his fans hot music but expresses hunger for how bad “the life” is meant for him. He is the total package performance wise as well. Kirko bangz performs and the crowd goes insane. To be “that” artist you have to reach your fans from many different angles. Kirko does that on so many levels that’s why the people love him. I could go on and on about Houston’s hottest rapper but I’ll let u check him out for yourself. Just remember a lot of people ride for their city but he drives.
