Toxin Experiences Gabriel&Dresden’s Live Chill Out Mix
Spinning Live

For those of you who don’t know, Gabriel&Dresden are one of the most famous producers of progressive house with the compliment of Trance, in the United States. Coming out of San Francisco, knowing how to rock a rave friendly crowd is a MUST. They have been spinning to sold out shows for a decade and show no signs of slowing down.
Since Gabriel&Dresden’s big break in 2004, with #11 UK Pop Chart Hit “As the Rush Comes” they have been the winners of numerous respected awards. Among the duos many music trophies are their Eight #1 Billboard Club Play Chart Remixes, three Dance Star Award nominations for Best Producer, Best single, Best Break Through DJ. Their music can be heard on shows like Nip/Tuck. After separating they have finally reunited and are going on tour for states and times check
On Friday, they played their classics like “As the Rush Comes”, “Fallen” featuring Sarah McLachlan and several other mixes.
The energy in the building was ridiculous! The whole downstairs main floor was decorated in everything from disco balls to a miniature replica of the colonial building. Sounds boring on paper but trust, it was the place to be this weekend. Rumors of sold out tickets were rushing through the club. It was nice to see a diverse crowd, Rich’s night club never fails to produce a “hawt” melting pot of ethnicities.
Besides the Euro style clothing, strobe lights, heavy bass, and amazing light shows (the act of creating visual effects using only glow sticks) there were pretty girls electrifying the dance floor.
One of the cage dancers was mesmerizing the Dj as well as the crowd. At times it looked as if her moves were tailored to Gabriel&Dresden’s mood music.
The famed fist pump and shuffle were no where in sight. This event was for true Progressive House fans with energy that could light up downtown Ibiza. Strange how music can alter moods. People were hyped up but the atmosphere could be described as a alcoholic cocktail, such as a cognac and an energy drink. The best combination of calm and energetic. The event was both electrifying and intoxicating!
It was nice to see everyone chill and vibe to the music, trading in the party rock lifestyle even if it was just for this night. Toxin was shown a lot of love and definitely will return to Rich’s for future events.
If you weren’t fortunate enough to be there no worries you can enjoy Gabriel&Dresden’s music at
